Olla Plant Waterers

An olla (or oya) is a traditional plant waterer made of naturally porous terracorra: It's an incredibly effective way to provide supplemental water for your plants. Use your olla for watering plants in the garden or the house, just like a watering globe or watering spike.

These handmade ollas from Pepin will help you save water and time by providing a slow, steady seep of moisture straight to the roots while extending the time between waterings. To use: Bury the bottom of your olla in the soil, fill it with water, cork it, and watch your plants thrive.

Every olla comes with an illustrated instruction card. Available in a variety of colors, including:

Over time, your plant's roots may attach themselves to the outside of the olla, drawing water out as needed. Easy peasy!
